As we stepped on the bus and headed off on the journey up to the mountain and the 10 miles of hiking that await us. My group got together and started to prepare ourselves for the crazy amount of fun that we were about to experience. As our group started we came across the most miraculous thing that I had seen in a while. Humongous shelf mushrooms that were estimated around 20 feet up. We continued to venture our way up the firescrew and encountered a huge snapped tree that looked as if it had been struck by lightning and snapped as well. Sophie started to climb it and she did it in a very skillful way. We contented to go along and played many games. One of these was a blind fold trust game that involved a blindfold and a partener and some trees. My partner in this game was Charlotte or cha cha. I was the first victim and I was led through many rock and tree branch obstacles that did not all go perfectly smooth. This continued like this till cha reached the desired tree that she wanted me to memorize with everyone of my senses except for eyesight and it was a great experience.

As we got to the rocky part of Firescrew my water bottle was constantly trying to escape my backpack and go down the rest of the mountain. At one of our last rest stops before we got to the top we met another group but we were still separated and I asked for Ryan's pretzels and they were gross. They tasted almost like mustard that had gone bad and was now crunchy. We continued to throw peppers and overall just have a fun time while enjoying the nature around us. I continued to make a sketch of the beautiful fall color leaves and the hills and the windmills.

Reaching the top was amazing with the tiny bit of fog and the beautiful fiery colors breaking through. We then got surprising news that our time for today was running low so at ultra speed we hiked up the saddle to go to the peak of the cardigan. We made it in about 20 minutes. The little pond on the top of Cardigan was an amazing site to see not just of the life that it provided but of its beauty that you could see. Also the firetower was a great thing of history as you could see the thousands of names and I even left my mark. We used many nicknames for the different obstacles that we encountered for example

Parkour :when a obstacle is hard

Core: and easy obstacle

Hardcore parkore: when a obstable is very intense and hard

When you see a crystal you make contact with it and yell Crystal!

The pin : you hid it on someone and get to ask them a question of your choosing

As well as Day one,Day two was filled with even more adventure and learning but each and every day is different and day two was no exception. A theme of geography that best describes day two is regions. I realized that when I was seeing how different Cardigan and Firescrew are from the other mountains that I have hiked. One of these was the many different forests and treelines that lined the mountains, each of which were unique and interesting in their own way. As well the huge tree mushrooms that lined only a small section of trees, which I believe is a great example of regions, because of the small section that the tree mushrooms were on made that section unique and different from any other one. Also the little tiny pond at the top of Cardigan was truly fascinating and once again made that space unique and special. Because this little pond had its own unique and interesting way of living I remembered this and it had made that moment a one of a kind experience. As well there were many watersheds,at the summit of mount cardigan there is a boundry of watersheds. When amy group was hiking the saddle we were right on that line of seperation,it is truly amazing that the many regions that were related to watersheds. There are countless others like, the crystals, the dead trees all in a line, the windmills, the firetower, and many more. Overall day two was a great day and was a great example of regions.
